An important question about the maldives?
So me and family plan on going to the Maldives during our spring break, however all the hotels that are close to the main island MALE are booked. Most packages on Expedia that are far from the main island include the hotel and flight from the airport to the island by a smaller float plane. My Question is, if we just booked a flight to the Maldives capital MALE and landed at their main airport yet we booked the hotel on another island that is closer to mainland separately would their be a float plane service or any company waiting at the airport that take you their without booking???

My superior tells me that the Maldivian government is having difficulties to proses visa renewals. He tells me that there will be no problem. Mi visa is ending on february the 4th and he wants me to stay working until february the 15th.

Best island for isolated huts in the maldives?
My partner and I want to go to the maldives, but we're looking for an island with huts on the beach which aren't on top of their neighbours. We know with our budget we can't expect a private island, but all of the places we've viewed online seem very cramped. Can anyone recommend an island where you do get a bit of privacy?

I'm leaving with husband on 13th october for a 3 day trip to the shangri la villingili resort at the maldives..any one has been there and can share experience...wheich activities there are the best?which restaurant..and any tips or notes will be really helpful..also what do i need to take and how will the weather be??it's fairly an expensive resort but the stay and tickets are won in a competition..we're paying for the domestic flight from male to gan though
