Basically, me and a couple friends were planning to take a holiday to Jamaica. We have heard it's dangerous out there with killings etc. I don't know if this is all true, but I'd like to know if it is. Also, my friend is Jamaican, but he was brought up in England, and he looks Asian, and not Jamaican. We would like to go to the clubs in Jamaica, and maybe even hire a car or get someone to drive us around to tour the different places. Is Kingston safe place to visit for tourists? Also, where would be the best clubs to go to? Are there any clubs that tourists should avoid? Me and my friend are both trained in combat sports, and we can defend ourselves. But that's not going to be much use if someone pulls a gun or knife on us.
Montego Bay Jamaica or Grand Cayman Island?
I am going on a Carnival cruise and also getting married in either Jamaica or Grand Cayman. Which would be the prettier place, Montego Bay Jamaica or Grand Cayman Islands? I have never been to either, so I'm not sure. Has anyone ever been married on either island? Any suggestions? ?

Traveling from Canada to May Pen, Jamaica. Need to find the best and easiest way from Kingston to May Pen. I'm guessing bus, but if there's something better, please let me know. Also, where can I locate bus terminals in Kingston?... thanksMaybe I should add that both May Pen and Kingston are in Jamaica. I wouldn't need a plane in between the two lol
